The AFC announced on May 9, 2026 that sales would "launch with an exclusive 48-hour window for Visa cardholders" starting at 20:27 AST on May 10 — the timing a nod to the year 2027. General sale opened at the same time of day on May 12, 2026. Ahlan lists knockout-round tickets by bracket position (for example "winner of Group A v third-placed team"), so fans can buy for a later round before the teams are known.
Where to buy
The only official channel is Ahlan (ahlan.sa and the Ahlan app), the Saudi ticketing platform appointed for the tournament. The AFC and the Saudi Press Agency describe it as the sole official outlet; there is no separate AFC ticket shop. Tickets bought from resale sites or unofficial marketplaces are not guaranteed entry and can be cancelled, so buy only through Ahlan.
Prices and categories
Published starting prices are SAR 30 (about US$8) for standard-category tickets and SAR 100 (about US$27) for premium categories. Prices rise by match, category and stadium, with the opening match and the final priced highest; the exact price of each fixture is shown per match on Ahlan. The AFC has not published a full price grid by round or a list of category names, so this page lists only the two confirmed starting points.
Key ticketing dates
The ticketing timeline was tied to the draw: the AFC announced the sale plan on May 9, 2026, the day of the draw in Diriyah; the Visa presale opened the following evening; the AFC published the full match schedule with kick-off times on May 13; and general sale had been running for a day by then. Since the draw, every fixture has a known date, venue and 19:00 AST kick-off (20:00 for the opener), so buyers know exactly what they are booking. The schedule page lists the round dates and the groups page the group-stage dates for the leading teams.
Stadium sizes and demand
Demand varies sharply by venue. The King Fahd Sports City Stadium in Riyadh (72,000) hosts the opener and the final, and King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah (60,000) and the new Aramco Stadium in Khobar (45,000) stage the semi-finals, so those rounds have the most seats. Group matches at Al Shabab Stadium (13,000) and the two 25,000–26,000-seat university grounds in Riyadh are the ones most likely to sell out early, particularly for Japan, South Korea, Australia and Iran, whose supporters travel in numbers. Capacities for all eight venues are on the stadiums page.
Before you buy
- Create an Ahlan account in advance; tickets are digital and delivered through the app.
- Check the date and city of each match — Riyadh, Jeddah and Khobar are hundreds of kilometres apart and most fans move between them by air.
- Knockout tickets are sold by bracket position, so a round-of-16 ticket in a given stadium is valid whichever teams end up playing there.
- Kick-offs are 19:00 AST (20:00 for the opener), which is 16:00 in London and the early hours in East Asia and Australia — useful when planning travel days.
- Prices shown on Ahlan are per match and category; the SAR 30 and SAR 100 figures are starting points, not fixed prices for every game.
What is not yet announced
No hospitality packages, official fan-travel programmes or resale platform had been announced by the AFC when this page was last updated, and there is no confirmed closing date for general sale. Entry requirements for international visitors (Saudi e-visas were available to fans from many countries for recent events) are set by the Saudi authorities rather than the AFC; check the official tournament and government sites before travelling.
