Brazil's group matches

As hosts, Brazil are pre-assigned to position A1 and their three group dates are already fixed: the opening match at the Maracanã in Rio de Janeiro on June 24, a second match at Arena Itaquera in São Paulo on June 29 and a third at the Estádio Nacional in Brasília on July 4. Their opponents are decided by the draw.

Kick-off times and time zones

FIFA will publish kick-off times after the draw. All eight host cities are on Brasília time (UTC−3), which does not change for daylight saving, so once the times are known the conversions are fixed. The table shows two illustrative slots — an afternoon and an evening kick-off — in the main fan time zones; they are conversion examples, not announced times.

The tournament is friendlier to European and North American viewers than the 2023 edition in Australia and New Zealand: Brazil is only an hour ahead of US Eastern time and four hours behind the UK in summer.

The final: Maracanã, July 25, 2027

The final is at the Maracanã on Sunday, July 25, 2027, the day after the third-place match in São Paulo. The Maracanã, which staged the 1950 men's World Cup final and the 2014 final, becomes the third stadium to host both a men's and a women's World Cup final. Spain are the holders after beating England 1–0 in Sydney in 2023.
