Euro 2028 venues: all nine stadiums, cities and which matches they host
Euro 2028 is played at nine stadiums in eight cities across England, Scotland, Wales and the Republic of Ireland. UEFA has confirmed which rounds each ground hosts: the opener in Cardiff, quarter-finals in Cardiff, Dublin, Glasgow and London, and both semi-finals and the final at Wembley. This page lists every venue with its UEFA name, its everyday name and its share of the 51 matches.

UEFA uses sponsor-free names during its tournaments, so the Etihad, Hill Dickinson, Principality and Aviva stadiums appear on tickets and in broadcasts as Manchester City Stadium, Everton Stadium, National Stadium of Wales and Dublin Arena. Six of the nine grounds are in England, and London is the only city with two. Capacities are not listed here: published figures differ between sources because Villa Park, the Etihad and Everton Stadium are all being expanded or newly built before 2028, and UEFA has not yet issued tournament capacities.

Kick-off times are 15:00, 18:00 and 21:00 CEST (14:00, 17:00 and 20:00 local time in the UK and Ireland).

Which teams play at which ground is decided by the final draw in December 2027. UEFA has confirmed that each group has a "group head" playing all three group matches at pre-selected venues; the four hosts (and Northern Ireland, if they qualify) are the designated group heads, with Wales pencilled in as A1 in Cardiff, England as B1, the Republic of Ireland as E1 and Scotland as F1.
Why there is no Belfast venue
The original bid included ten stadiums, with Casement Park in Belfast to be rebuilt for five matches. On September 13, 2024 the UK government said it would not fund the redevelopment, citing a cost that had risen from about £180 million to over £400 million and a significant risk the ground would not be ready in time. Northern Ireland therefore dropped out as a host, leaving nine venues; Belfast's ICC stages the qualifying draw on December 6, 2026 instead.
